This traditional farmhouse is located a short drive away from Ramla il Hamra beach in Xaghra. A long corridor leads into the farmhouse, with doors out the pool and garden to the left and into the main living area, to the right. The pool area is a calm and tranquil walled space for sunbathing and al fresco meals. Original floor tiles throughout give this house a wonderful glimpse into its past. The kitchen, dining room and living room are one large space, perfect for socializing, for families and couples alike. A wood- burning stove gives an extra cosy feel on those cooler winter evening. A stunning stone spiral staircase leads to the upper level. There is also an outside stone staircase, a feature of many of Gozo’s old -----------. Upstairs, there are two double bedrooms, both with en suites and lovely original ----------- is room for a foldaway bed and/or a cot for the 5th person, if required. The house has fans and, air conditioning in the bedrooms, for both cold air and heat.

Village Neighborhood

Located on the outskirts of Xaghra, a busy town with many shops and restaurants and a bank. A short drive away is Ramla beach. This is Gozo's and arguably Malta's, best beach. A wide stretch of red sand, it is often referred to locally as Ramla il-hamra (the Red Sand Beach). It is a fabulous place to swim, snorkel and chill out in the sun. The area around the beach is wonderfully undeveloped, although there are a couple of cafes and a stall set back from the beach.
