Cancelling a booking
Check the Cancellation Policy
Before you book a holiday home on holiday-malta.com, check the applicable cancellation policy of the lisiting. Cancellation policies are displayed in the section Discount/Policy in each listing.
There are currently 6 different cancellation policies, which are applied by hosts and vary between hosts and listings, which are:-
Super Flexible: Full Refund Up To 14 Days Before Check In
✔ The Guest will receive a full refund less card fees if a booking is cancelled more than 14 calendar days prior to check in.
✔ The Guest will not receive a refund of rental/property fees if a booking is cancelled less than 14 days to check in.
✔ A booking is officially cancelled when the guest clicks/selects cancel and proceeds with the cancellation on the relative booking.
✔ Cancellation policies may be superseded by exceptional circumstances. Please review these exceptions in the general terms and conditions.
✔ Can be modified up to 14 days before check in.
Flexible: Full Refund Up To 21 Days Before Check In
✔ The Guest will receive a full refund less card fees if a booking is cancelled more than 21 calendar days prior to check in.
✔ The Guest will not receive a refund of rental/property fees if a booking is cancelled less than 21 days to check in.
✔ A booking is officially cancelled when the guest clicks/selects cancel and proceeds with the cancellation on the relative booking.
✔ Cancellation policies may be superseded by exceptional circumstances. Please review these exceptions in the general terms and conditions.
✔ Can be modified up to 21 days before check in.
Moderate: Full Refund Up To 28 Days Before Check In
✔ The Guest will receive a full refund less card fees if a booking is cancelled more than 28 calendar days prior to check in.
✔ The Guest will not receive a refund of rental/property fees if a booking is cancelled less than 28 days to check in.
✔ A booking is officially cancelled when the guest clicks/selects cancel and proceeds with the cancellation on the relative booking.

Strict: 50% Refund Up To 28 Days Before Check In
✔ The Guest will receive a 50% refund of rental/property fees if a booking is cancelled more than 28 calendar days prior to check in.
✔ The Guest will not receive a refund of rental/property fees if a booking is cancelled less than 28 days to check in.
✔ Guest who opt to use the 50% Easy Pay method will not receive a refund whenever a booking is cancelled.
✔ A booking is officially cancelled when the guest clicks/selects cancel and proceeds with the cancellation on the relative booking.

Super Strict: 50% Refund Up To 42 Days Before Check In
✔ The Guest will receive a 50% refund of rental/property fees if a booking is cancelled more than 42 calendar days prior to check in.
✔ The Guest will not receive a refund of rental/property fees if a booking is cancelled less than 42 days to check in.
✔ Guest who opt to use the 50% Easy Pay method will not receive a refund whenever a booking is cancelled.
✔ A booking is officially cancelled when the guest clicks/selects cancel and proceeds with the cancellation on the relative booking.

Non-Refundable
✔ Non Refundable Rates are Discounted Rates
✔ The Guest will not receive a refund whenever a booking is cancelled
✔ A booking is officially cancelled when the guest clicks/selects cancel and proceeds with the cancellation on the relative booking.
✔ Cancellation policies may be superseded by exceptional circumstances. Please review these exceptions in the general terms and conditions.
✔ No modifications are permissable.

To modifiy an existing booking contact customer support through the messaging tab in your account quoting your booking refererence detailing the requested changes.
