Valletta is never far from most of the nearby beaches along the coastline where you can hop on to a bus to get over to Sliema from within 15 minutes or so or take a ferry boat across

Scuba diving, Wining and dining, Golf course (within 3 km), Tours around the islands, Movie theaters, Live music or performances, historic attractions, local Re enactment and historic Events, Guided Walking tours. Nearby and Opposite the Valletta City walls across the Marsamxetto bay you will see the areas of St Julians and Sliema to which you can cross by quick ferry or take the short bus trip in this direction, Sliema and Saint Julians are also probably the most upmarket areas of Malta or all of the Maltese islands. Here you will find places to relax, places of entertainment including casinos, restaurants cafes, promenades, beaches and shops.
