This lovely villa is ideal for your next holiday in Malta, sleeps 6 to 7 persons in 3 bedrooms, 1 baby cot and a maximum additional two extra single beds and a sofa bed are available on request for larger groups. This holiday villa is a 300 year old expertly converted Maltese farmhouse, retaining all its original features, arches, nooks, niches, Maltese flagstones and birth rooms. Professor stefano Zerafa, a Maltese academic of the 1800’s and the person who identified the maltese national plant "widnet il-bahar" as endemic to malta, lived in this house. This home is impeccably furnished to high standards with 3 guest bedrooms all with an en-suite showers, a large hall with a sitting and a dining area, a picturesque authentic mill room that serves as living quarters, a beautiful pool area with a lovely sun terrace and an internal yard which contains a herb garden. Book early to secure availability.

Żurrieq is a town in the Southern Region of Malta. It is one of the oldest towns in the country, The island of Filfla is administratively a part of the town. One of the most popular landmarks is the Blue Grotto. Locally it is known as the arch. It is known for the beautiful shades of blue under the arch. People can go into the arch by boarding a luzzu from Wied Iż-Żurrieq. This area has some excellent fish restaurants in a stunning setting. Zurrieq is located only 1.5 km away from the coast line. The closest beach (rocky) is on the promenade of the Zurrieq Valley. Other attractions include the Hagar Qim Temples, Mnajdra temples, Hal Saflieni temples and the underground Hypogeum. Valletta the capital city is just a 20 minutes drive ----------- 18-hole Royal Malta Golf Club and Tennis courts are just 9 km away.

We had a wonderful stay the property it was a complete delight. Daniel could not have been more helpful. There are lots of little extras that made a difference such as dishwasher tablets and Shower Gel in all of the bathrooms. The courtyard is beautiful full of lovely plants and flowers.

A beautiful house in the heart of a small authentic local Maltese village. Great access to lots of local ammenities and shops. The house is very spacious, stunningly decorated and very atmospheric. The three bedrooms are well separated from each other so gives everyone their own space.
