This Gharb Farmhouse/character home is built around a private swimming pool which is surrounded by colorful bougainvillea all year round. Located in a secluded and peaceful area in this small historical village of Gharb, home to the Ta Pinu cathedral. Within walking distance to a minimarket for all your daily needs, restaurants and the Gharb folkore museum. The farmhouse enjoys 4 double bedrooms, one on the ground floor and three on the first floor, 4 bathrooms, a spacious living room equipped with cable TV and a large dining/kitchen overlooking the swimming pool. On the first floor, there is also a large terrace, also used as a BBQ area. The property is furnished with a blend of antique and typical country-style furniture. All bedrooms have balconies overlooking the pool. Free WiFi is available. For larger groups this property may be booked together with another property which are next to each other.

Village Neighborhood

Gharb was built between 1699 and 1729, it has an elegant facade which has been compared with Borromini's Sant Agnese in Piazza Navona, Rome. This version is naturally a simpler interpretation of the style. The village square, so quintessentially Gozitan, has become the view on many a postcard. On the square is a fascinating folklore museum housing all sorts of memorabilia retelling the Islands' rural history. Gharb lies in some of Gozo's most delightful countryside, particularly at Dbiegi, the highest hill on the Island.
