Two bedroom apartment available for weekly holiday rentals in Santa Maria Estate, Mellieha, Malta on a self catering basis. Forming part of a large magnificent private villa estate property this 2 bedroom apartment lies on the pool deck floor level sharing a swimming pool with just 2 other apartments and the upper level of the villa estate. The apartment offers a modern level of accommodation in Malta with sea views, large swimming pool, sun deck and garden. The pool has a small splash pool for the children to enjoy, whilst the enormous sun deck hosts various seating by the pool, with coffee tables enjoying sea views from one side and a most exceptional view of the pool on the other. Entrance to the apartment is via the sloped private driveway of the villa. The apartment is equipped with a modern fully equipped kitchen for self catering, a living room with large sofas, TV, wifi access, and two bedrooms, one with double bed and the other bedroom with two single beds. An extra sofa/put up bed is arranged for a 5th person. There is a full bathroom with walk in shower, and a 2nd full bathroom with shower can also be used which is on the exit of the apartment by the pool. You will find that the whole property is very spacious and offers a very high level of comfort. All amenities are nearby and within walking distance. The owner of the property lives on the upper floor of the villa and is available throughout your holiday. The property owner attends to the pool at around 7:30PM daily for cleaning purposes.

Guests make use of the whole apartment unit and share the use of a communal pool for 2 other apartments.

Consumption of electricity - A pay as you go operated card meter is installed connected to electricity supply for top up as a pay as you go service. On average one can spend between 20 EUR and 40 EUR for between 4 to 7 days - it mostly depends on how much or how regular you use the airconditioners or heavy appliances constantly over a 24 hour period.
Village Neighborhood
The Villa and the apartments are located in Santa Maria Estate which is a prime residential only type of area . Here you will not find commercial activities in this neighbourhood- For Restaurants , shops or entertainment , you are just a short drive or bus ride away and most are located in the center or down near the beach. If you enjoy walks, the main street or center area starts just about 7 minutes away. There is a recommended convenience store or supermarket on this main street of Mellieha , they offer an excellent selection of all you should need to cater for yourselves whilst you are here. Right next door to the supermarket is a lovely Cafe and Pizzeria. The Bus Stop and main bus service stop is located just outside the supermarket.
Towards the center of Mellieha and the main street, you will find various you will also find some excellent restaurants and a lively atmospheric sports bar. Going past this area you can also venture towards the sandy beach of Mellieha bay also known as ghadira bay. Here you will also fond some restaurants right on the seafront for your enjoyment, night or day out. Further on past Mellieha you can also opt to take one of the daily trips to Gozo. (From the apartment location its about a 10 minute drive ) Several trips are on a ro ro service to and from Gozo. So from here you can very easilly visit Gozo for the day
Parking & Bus Stops
The nearest bus stop and main bus interchange are located about 5 to 7 minutes walk away. If you decide to rent a car, you can use the free parking spaces just outside/ near the Villa . Hiring a car is not necessary but is highly recommended to get around with more freedom and travel around at a faster pace. , this especially for guests traveling with young children, or persons with limited mobility.
Kindly ensure the apartment is kept clean at all times and to return the property as clean as possible to allow for next guests .

The apartment, outdoor space and pool were all wonderful. A really lovely place to stay and relax. Plenty of space and whilst we were there it was very quiet. Excellent location, 2 minute drive to shops and restaurants, and very close for the ferry to Gozo. Dominic is an excellent host, happy to have a chat if you want to but doesn't interfere. Very helpful. Highly recommended, we'll definitely be back.
