Booking Type
Hosts have the option to require guests to send a booking request or allow guests to book instantly through Instant Book.
Request to Book
If a listing is set on Request to Book, each guest will need to send a booking request for the specific dates the guest selects. The host has the option to either accept or decline the request, or ask the guest questions prior to accepting the request. When a host approves a booking request, the guest will have 24 hours to book instantly. Note that declining booking requests or allowing a booking request to lapse effects your host status.

If a holiday home is set on Instant Book, a guest will be able to instantly book without needing pre-approval.
Messaging
Hosts may receive messages from guests through the messaging system. Hosts and guests can use the messaging system to discuss details, or to clarify any questions between the two parties.
Payments & Payouts
holiday-malta.com receives all rental payments from guests except for pay per use services and security deposits. Pay per use and security deposits are paid by guests directly to hosts on site/check in date. Deposit and balance payments are paid out to hosts depending on the cancellation policy of the booking and the host status. All payout details and invoices are recorded in the host account.
