All the holiday home listings featured on holiday-malta.com are owned and managed by independent hosts and suppliers. holiday-malta.com solely provides a facility through which bookings of the listings featured on holiday-malta.com may be made. Each property listing is a unique holiday home, manged by its host whether acting as a principal, agent or a sub agent. Hosts describe their listings in detail, including available amenities, arrival/departure time, house rules, rates, discounts, offers, pay per use services, security deposits, minimum/maximum stay requirements and cancellation policies.
Activity Listings
All the actviity listings featured on holiday-malta.com are owned and managed by independent hosts and suppliers. holiday-malta.com solely provides a facility through which bookings of the listings featured on the website may be made. Each activity listing is unique, manged by its host whether acting as a principal, agent or a sub agent. Hosts describe their activity listings in detail, including where you will meet, what you will do, what you should bring, start/end time, rules, rates, discounts, offers and cancellation policies.
Profiles
holiday-malta.com profiles help hosts and guests learn more about each other before a booking is concluded. Full names or contact information are not displayed on public profiles, but they are shared once a booking is confirmed. Having a Verified phone number inidcates that you have verified your contact infirmation, Having a verified ID indicates that you've verfiied your ID. This is done by completing a specific set of verification steps in your profile.
Messasging
holiday-malta.com maintains a messaging system between hosts and guests who can communicate prior to and during a booking.Our messaging system ensures that communication between hosts and guests stays on holiday-malta.com or ease of reference.
Payments
holiday-malta.com collects guest payments from the moment a reservation is completed and it releases funds to the host. Certain guests may qualify for split reservation payments, whilst certain hosts, such as Prioirity hosts may have a difference payout policy. Note that holiday-malta.com does not collect any pay per use services or security deossits, these are to be settled directly on the location between the host and the guest according to the detail in the particular listings.
Host Status
There are 3 types of Hosts on holiday-malta.com, New Hosts, Active Hosts and Priority Hosts. Each host has a different payout policy and a different level of host support. New hosts are hosts who have just listed on holiday-malta.com and have less than 2 completed bookings. Active Hosts are hosts who have received less than 5 completed bookings through holiday-malta.com and have served guests well during their stay in Malta or Gozo. Priority hosts are top rated hosts and are rewarded for their commitment in providing the best guest experience and the highest level of hospitality to guests. Host Status reviews are performed at intervals where we evaluate host performance for all listings in host accounts.
Price Matching
holiday-malta.com understands that prices can be a determining factor when booking a holiday home or activity. In most cases we are able to price match if you happen to find the same property or activity which is cheaper on another website. If you find the same property or activity on a different website, contact us to price match. You will need to meet all the following to qualify for a price match check:-
- Guests will need to contact holiday-malta.com customer support at least 96 hours prior to the intended check in or activity date.
- Guests will need to provide the link to the other offer and it must be online and available when we check.
- The other offer must be for the same property and accommodation type in the case of holiday homes, or for the same activity in the case of activities.
- The other offer must be for the same check in and check out dates in the case of holiday homes, or for the same activity date in the case of activities.
- The other offer must be for the same number of guests (senior citizens, adults, children, infants)
- The other offer must have the same payment policy, cancellation policy and booking conditions.
