Popeye Village

A visit to Popeye Village, which was the original film set of the musical production Popeye is surely a must on your what to do list in Malta. This is a great place to take your kids to meet world famous cartoon characters. Popeye village is situated just off Mellieha Bay, so its an excellent place to visit before, after, or whilst spending the day at the numerous beaches and coves around the area or just next door at the enclosed Anchor Bay which is equipped with sun beds, umbrellas, showers, bathing areas, splash pools and a small kids area.

At Popeye village guests may enjoy the popular "Take 2 filming" -  this is an event where you will be a able to take part in daily filming and you and your friends become the actors of a live action movie. Popeye Village Winter Package.

Get to know more about the movie and the building of the film-set in the very detailed 15 minute documentary showing continuously in the cinema. Whilst you are there, do not forget to collect your free postcard. Then make your way to Popeye's comic museum to see all the memorabilia that has been collected throughout the years.

Santa's Toy Town (06.12 to 04.01) - Visit our blissful elves that are always busy at work preparing hundreds of thousands of presents for all your little ones around the world to be delivered on Christmas Eve. Whilst you are in their magical toy town, make sure to get a glimpse of the cuddly polar bears and also keep an open eye for our XMAS surprise?!

9-hole mini-golf - End your day at the village by bringing out the Tiger Woods in you. Participate in a golfing tournament and try to take home the victory of a 9-hole mini golf session. This will surely be a good exercise to demonstrate your skills. Be careful – competition gets fiercer by the seconds.
