Malta holiday Property Rentals on Gozo Island -Xaghra

This modernly built and styled holiday property is located in the much saught after village of Xaghra Gozo pronounced "xara". Locally it is catagorised as a maisonette and consists of 1 main bedroom with its own bathroom facility ensuite, 3 other bedrooms neatly equipped with 3 single beds in each room and a separate batroom ..thus capable of catering for up to 11 persons
The spacious living area is open plan with a combined living and dining area and an equipped kicthen at the far end. The living area leads directly on to a lovely pool terrace with excellent country views and the sea . The Pool is equipped with a Jacuzzi and also has a poolside B-B-Q .

Other accessories available at the property is a coin payphone, Cable TV and washing machine.

Once you have booked, It is important to allow us to arrange your transport and car hire from Malta Airport or the Gozo Heliport so that you are taken to the property without hassle or delay- Keys of the property will be with the driver. Payment for transport can be effected on arrival direct to the driver.

Re Towels and linnen -If you want to bring your own please do so as you prefer, however Beach towels are not provided and bathroom towels are strictly not to be used at the beach or taken out of the property. A Baby cot can be arranged at no extra cost.

Getting around nearby By Public Transport - to Rabat Victoria. A bus stop is in the village centre , but car hire is highly recommended for proper exploration and convenience wheb getting around the island.

TRANSFER ON ARRIVAL - to the property . In order to deliver the property keys at different times of the day or night, depending on your arrival time in Malta or Gozo we will arrange your transfer to Gozo on arrival thus locating the property without delay. To do this we will require your flight details - i.e your flight number and time of arrival in Malta. Meeting point is iether at the Malta International Airport just outside customs or the Gozo Heliport.

From Malta there is a choice of iether taking the helicopter to Gozo (when available) - travel time 10 to 15 mins from malta airport) or the ferry (2 hours Travel time from malta airport) where you sail past the glorious blue lagoon- The ferry goes every 30 minutes and even during the night in the summer time. Both the ferry and the helicopter are a very enjoyable part of your holiday experience on the maltese Islands

Departure : Unless arranged with us, your departure back to the Airport can be arranged with the same driver you came with on arrrival; please do inform the driver of your intended time of departure.. Remember Standard check out time from the property is before 11:30AM in the morning. Please PAY the Driver locally Direct for any transport you may require.

A little about the Village The village of Xaghra is poised on a high limestone plateau. As limestone is soft and porous, rainwater percolates through and by chemical action melts the more soluble materials, leaving the harder ones to stand. This explains the formation of caves and grottoes in limestone terrains. Nearby is the lovely beach of Ramla. Xaghra is also famous for hosting one of the oldest man made Temples in the world- Ggantija Temlpes ( The Giants Feet)
