Spacious and exceptionally well kept villa, razzett with private pool, converted with typical maltese stonework to modern standards. Situated in the heart of the old village of Gharb Gozo and now offering holiday accommodation in Gozo, sister island of mainland Malta, right in the middle of the Mediterranean.

Access is through a little typical gozitan alley. The spacious hall/ lounge area is furnished with comfortable pine sofas that blend with the natural stone features of the house. This lounge is the centrepoint of the property and leads to all other areas of the house, with a double bedroom with bathroom ,wc and shower ensuite on the same ground floor ( ideal also for wheelchair accessibility). Another twin bedroom is also available on the 1st floor . Next is a luxury kitchen with dining table , modern appliances and utensils for all your self catering needs . The kitchen leads to the spacious pool deck where you can enjoy cooling off the hot summer sun or work on your tan. The pool is not overlooked and is fully private , and is approximately 29 x15 feet in dimension.

From the main hall you have a typical stone ,rustic staircase, very safe with wide steps that lead to the second floor. Here one finds the 3rd bedroom which is twin , but can be arranged as double if you prefer . A bathroom with shower and WC is available on this second floor. From the hall on the second floor one can access a spacious sun terrace directly overlooking the pool, another place to enjoy the sun, besides the pool deck and enjoy country views of Gozo.

Just minutes walk to the village centre, which is not a busy town, you will find all you need, including a Pharmacy, Bank, mini market, bakery and a Church. The capital of Victoria is about 5 to 10 mins away by car. Nearby Gharb is the famous Azure Window in Dwejra, a rocky beach and a favoiurite dive spot for Scuba diving enthiusiasts.

TRANSFER ON ARRIVAL - to the property . In order to deliver the property keys at different times of the day or night, depending on your arrival time in Malta or Gozo we will arrange your transfer to Gozo on arrival thus locating the property without delay. To do this we will require your flight details - i.e your flight number and time of arrival in Malta. Meeting point is iether at the Malta International Airport just outside customs or the Gozo Heliport.

From Malta there is a choice of iether taking the helicopter to Gozo (when available) - travel time 10 to 15 mins from malta airport) or the ferry (2 hours Travel time from malta airport) where you sail past the glorious blue lagoon- The ferry goes every 30 minutes and even during the night in the summer time. Both the ferry and the helicopter are a very enjoyable part of your holiday experience on the maltese Islands

Departure : Unless arranged with us, your departure back to the Airport can be arranged with the same driver you came with on arrrival; please do inform the driver of your intended time of departure.. Remember Standard check out time from the property is before 11:30AM in the morning. Please PAY the Driver locally Direct for any transport you may require.

About the Village of Gharb in Gozo:

On the west side of the island is one of Gozo s prettiest and most peaceful Villages. Particularly fine features of the houses are the stone balconies, many of them old and finely carved. Several British expatriates have made their homes here, restoring the old village and its farmhouses.
